American CPSC modifies the banned requirements for ortho benzene

In October 18, 2017, the Consumer Product Safety Commission, CPSC, voted 3 to 2 to pass the final rules for 8 phthalates in toys and child care products, which could not exceed 0.1% of the content of two. Toys and child care products entering the American market must meet the requirements of 8 kinds of ortho benzene (DEHP, DBP, BBP, DINP, DIBP, DCHP, DPENP, DHEXP), and the individual content shall not exceed 0.1%. The new rules will be announced 180 days after the formal entry into force in the federal register.


Compared with the original requirement, the bill has changed greatly, and the specific changes are as follows:
